The experience took a hit due to the noise from the park below, where late-night revelers can keep you up. Dated furnishings and an unclean bathroom were also an issue. In room 3, I had to navigate a peculiar two-step feature, made moving around a hassle, and issues like a malfunctioning shower door didn't help. Lastly, the air conditioning struggled to keep up when you needed warmth for a chilly December stay, and there was a notable lack of cleaning on one day, disappointing.

Food was amazing and I have nothing but really great memories from this trip. Modern and clean hotel, the staff who served me were exceptionally nice, and it had incredible location to the metro station which is about a 2 minutes. I thoroughly enjoyed the room with the view, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. An electric kettle and a refrigerator were available too.

I had a great time here and would stay here again. Clean place, staff was friendly and accommodating. The property's location was marvellous, close to main tourist points. Moreover, it was really close to excellent location for exploring the old part of the city, the cafe down stairs and the centre of town and the archeological zone.

Unique room structure challenges

The amazing view of the Colosseum was lovely.

Upon arrival, the check-in was chaotic and unprofessional. The signs warning about rude tourists were off-putting and set a negative tone. Our room was not cleaned properly, and the amenities were in poor condition-especially the kettle, disgusting. The noise from the street below.

Location right across from the Colosseum made mornings lovely. Enjoyed my coffee with a fine view. The room was spacious, had a comfortable bed, and came with a fridge for snacks. Cleanliness was great. Communication with Claudia was smooth, though I had to reach out twice before getting the door code. The air conditioning needed fixing but Claudia promptly addressed it. Some street noise at night was noticeable, but the atmosphere was vibrant. If you're looking for a unique experience with very nice views, this is a good pick, despite the minor inconveniences.

The location was unbeatable-right across from the Colosseum. The hosts, Roberto and Claudia, were helpful, providing local maps and suggesting great nearby restaurants. The room was spacious, clean, and had amazing views of the historic sites.

The fine views of the iconic site from our double room were lovely, especially during sunset. Conveniently located, we found multiple dining options nearby, with good Asian dishes available. While the air conditioning presented a minor hiccup, it was swiftly addressed by the attentive staff. Make sure to pack light, as navigating the stairs can be a bit challenging, but the amazing scenery makes it worthwhile.
